This park is called Meridian Hill Park. It has two tiers. I spent lots of time there as a child.
Some facts about it:
The style is called neoclassicist.
It was home to an African American Seminary and a college that was to become George Washington University.
It once contained a mansion where John Quincy Adams moved when he left the White House in 1829.
